Flokati & Shag Rugs

Originating in 5th century Greece, Flokati rugs, have a long tradition of providing warmth and beauty. Our Flokati rugs are no exception.

With an impressive array of gram weight per square meter, our all-natural Flokati rugs are heavy and plush, suitable for a lifetime of use. Prepared and hand loomed entirely in Greece where the Flokati rug was developed and perfected, our exceptionally sturdy rugs are made of strong, 100% New Zealand Drysdale Wool-the best carpet wool available.

Once woven, each rug is placed in a vat where Pindos Mountain water churns and washes the wool in a forty-hour process that causes the pile to unravel and blossom into its fullest, thickest hand. Machine (commercial) washable-shake well before washing.

Shag Rugs

Shag rugs are similar to Flokati rugs but may be manufactured in countries other than Greece and may be made with wool alternatives such as high quality nylon, acrylic or olefin. Soft and fun, our shag rugs come in many colors and add a sense of casual style to any room. Sink your bare feet into a luxuriously fluffy shag rug and enjoy.
